Glimmer: Social Media’s Green Upgrade—a new era of social networking for a sustainable future

To many of us, social media has become almost as integral to our lives as the air we breathe. Despite its benefits—an easy way to connect, share, and engage with others—social media often gets a bad rap for its less positive aspects like misinformation and harmful content.

So, given social media’s undeniable presence, how can we turn it into a force for good?

Glimmer offers a fresh approach to social networking—prioritising purpose over profit, and placing value on safeguarding users’ personal information and digital well-being.

Now, together with the Australian Computer Society, Glimmer invites you to be a part of this exciting new venture. Join us for Glimmer: Social Media’s Green Upgrade to learn more about our vision for a sustainable future.

Register for our event and you will be inspired by Glimmer founder and CEO, Nancy Lutchman, and hear from this panel of future leaders discussing their role in shaping a sustainable future and how Glimmer can help them make a difference.
