In addition to Glimmer’s General Terms and Conditions, the following terms apply to Glimmer’s Events feature (collectively, the “Terms”). 

By creating or hosting events (the “Event”) through the Glimmer platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Conduct and Content

  • Event organisers are solely responsible for all aspects of their event including any risks, damages, injuries, or losses that may occur as a result. Glimmer is not liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages that may result from your event.
  • Event organisers will obtain appropriate insurance cover for their event.
  • You will not claim or imply that your event is sponsored by, or affiliated with, Glimmer without express written permission from Glimmer.
  • Your event will comply with Glimmer’s Community Guidelines.
  • Your event will comply with all relevant laws and regulations including but not limited to, Intellectual Property, Environmental, Health & Safety, Privacy, Local government etc. 
  • You will obtain all necessary permits, licenses and approvals for your event. 
  • All events must be related to sustainability and well-being topics related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 
  • You will provide transparent disclosure of any fees or costs associated with the event, if applicable. 

Sustainability and Ethical Practices

  • All events will support sustainable practices, including minimising environmental impact, promoting inclusivity, and being socially responsible.
  • Events must not engage in or support greenwashing practices.

Data Compliance and Privacy

  • If you choose to collect content or personal data from people who interact with your event, you will be clear and transparent that it is you collecting the data and not Glimmer.
  • If you collect data using Glimmer’s registration forms, you will provide a link to your privacy policy in every form.

Intellectual Property and Content Usage

  • Glimmer may use, display, and distribute event-related content for promotional or marketing purposes.

Event Removal and Service Changes

  • Glimmer may remove your Event without notice if it violates these Terms or the platform’s values of sustainability and well-being.

Modification of Terms

  • Glimmer may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. For events that have been organised but have not yet occurred, you will be required to review and accept the updated Terms for your event. If you do not accept the updated Terms, your event will be cancelled.
